I am starting a tank, and a pretty good deal for local live rock has come up. How long do you suppose I could keep the live rock healthy in a tub, and what would I use? Powerheads, airstone, heater, lights?
If I understood correctly ur starting a new tank? Well if you are then get the salt water mixture in and as soon as salinity is right you can stick the Live Rock in ther right away, as far as keeping your live rock "alive" per say is just keep all the levels like salinity, and temperuture at the right levels along with light it can stay in the tub untill ur done mixing the saltwater
