Keeping your DT alive during QT

So I recently lost my Royal Gramma to Ich (he had the white spots, flashing like crazy, ended up banging his head and face really bad, no bueno).

I'm worried for the rest of my fishies. It's a starter tank, so I've just got 4 Damsels and a Scooter Blenny and my CUC. I guess what I'm wondering is what to do to keep your inverts and corals alive while you take the fish out for QT?

I'm under the impression that the CUC will not produce enough ammonia to keep the cycle going, so if I remove the fish, won't my tank crash?

Simply drop in some pellets, flake or other food every couple days to feed your inverts and corals. Also, keep the same light schedule you maintained while fish were in the display to maintain your corals. You will not need to feed much b/c the inverts will largely live off of detritus and algae and corals will do fine for the most part with just light. The bacterial colonies in the display will do fine without fish, particularlly if you feed the tank every few days.
