Yeah I sent him an email back in September and got no response at all. I'm not sure if he deals with individuals or if you have to go through a LFS.

I think he's out. Crystal dynamics is great quality. It's the same actually. I've had both. Crystal dynamics is much easier to deal with though.

Crystal Dynamics is nice, but I had a hard time communicating my intentions with them. I wanted large but to keep it within a particular budget but they kept pushing me on 3/4", and I wanted to do only 1/2" glass. They were nice enough to give me a 1/2" glass quote but kept saying they had to do special reinforcing techniques, which I get but I didn't want those and for whatever reason they didn't get the idea that I'm willing to go smaller to save some money. They kept wanting to give me the biggest tank they could make at those parameters.
Eventually I gave up on them, as my budget was the deciding factor. I had a feeling that they were eventually going to quote me a price of a standard tank size but then pay the premium custom price on it.
