kelp on rock

I just cycled tank and on my fiji live rock a kelp like algae is growing. It looks very lettuce like and is a dark green. Is it good/bag. Will tangs or fish keep it trimmed. I had the same stuff in my 58 and it took over 1 rock pretty good. I had no algae eating fish though. Sorry for no pics but any help as to what most likely this is will be appreciated.

I assume it is pretty common if it is growwing on my rocks looks kind of brownish leaves. Any ideas or is there a catalogue of algae I can look iot up by pic

it looks alot like phaeophye(brown algae) Will anything like tangs eat this? Is it considered good/bad?
