Kent Marine Iodine

Does any one dose with Kent Marine Iodine. and what do you think.

There's an article in this month's ReefKeeping Mag (the Newbie Corner by waterkeeper) that dosing iodine is not a good idea....

i dose only a few drops when its been a long time between waterchanges,,and this is only for my shrimp. i dont notice anything good or bad from it. i got the stuff for free when a lfs was going out of business

Which Kent? The Lugols solution?

I use the Lugols solution to dip corals and zoas. Other than that, weekly water changes should replenish the iodine in your tank.
