I was wondering where you keep your kenya trees in the tank? Do you have them towards the top close to the light, in a high flow area? I have a 2 175 watt MH lights. Just wanted to kno0w where is the best place to put them?
My kenya tree just "dropped a branch" and I was hoping to peruse this forum to see if this was the norm. Apparently it is.
To stick to the original topic, my Kenya Tree is at the bottom of my 15" deep tank. I'm running 4x 24 watt T5s. I've had my kenya tree for about 2.5 months.
Yes it's normal for them to drop banches as they reproduce. I keep mine near the substrate, roughly 20", under PC's. I've had very good growth. Very easy to keep coral imo. Give it a little light and flow and it will be happy.
