Kessil Lighting - My Display Idea

Wanted to share my new setup. Had an idea how to display my 3 Kessil A160we's over my tank. Works pretty well if anyone wants to try.

I decided to run the electrical through the wall behind my tank, then mounted the lights from a shelf attached to the wall. I didn't want to see any wires on the tank, so I was able to core out some channels with a long drill bit to hid the power cords and also the daisy chain links which allows the computer controlled dimming, I then fed a long bolt and nut to screw in the lights. All Ace Hardware parts.

End product is a way to suspend the lights without seeing any wires, check out the photos.

Thanks! Yah, ended up pretty cool.

It's an optical illusion with the centering + the tank is pulled out 3 inches in the second pic, it's actually dead center so I was pretty happy when I did final measurements. Was nervous bout' that.

As for the TV, its actually not that bad cause the lights are off 80% of the time when I use that TV if ever. I kinda like them both on though, it doesn't bother me and I never really use that TV anyway.

It swivels 180 degrees, its nice to have it out sometimes. I use it as a digital picture frame mostly, just cycle my new photos

It's a CAD Lights tank............so I believe the CAD Lights sump. 4 Chamber with 2 lower baffles, I believe they built it. Works well, like the setup, super quiet. I have the Marine Pure ceramic balls in the second chaber which I seeded with Dr. Tim's One & Only......that stuff is amazing! I have chaeto in the third chamber.

Return pump could be slightly more powerful but its whisper quiet so I dont wannna change it!
