I built this stand from solid red oak, i have more detailed pics of the internal structure if interested. both sides are removable attached by neodymium magnets. I an currently building a stained glass window to put in the door.

I used those odd corners (at least one of them) to house a heater. Seemed like a great use of space. After having the tank for about 2 years, it was maxed out though and I was starting to have problems with algae from lack of flow. Then upgraded to 120 :) Of course I had way too much stuff in there....

I wanted to keep the Solana too but didn't want to maintain two tanks.

That pic of your gold stripe maroon is sweet! Really nice tank. I have always thought the Solona 34 gallons were really sharp. I almost got one, but I decided to go bigger with my 93 cube.
