kind of disappointed with my young dempseys

I know it's not coral but I just want to rant somewhere...so I have an electric blue dempsey that I raised since an egg, the only one I kept from the first batch of.my big pair...He was the alpha male...i have had him in a tank with a platinum dempsey, 2 blue gene gold gene and platinum gene dempseys and also 2 blue gene dempseys...He was the alpha male in this tank too...well to make a long story short I come home from work today and it seems like the 2 blue gene dempseys have paired up cause they're showing their breeding dresses...what I'm so disappointed about is i wanted him to pair with one of the other dempseys...sooner or later every fish in this tank will either be killed or catch a disease from stress but I'm not going to let that happen they're going in the 40 breeder tomorrow after work...
But now instead of half the batch of fry being electric blue only 25% will be electric blue...I'm so disappointed I want to cry...

I call him little daddy and yes he comes when you call his name lol...i have a few tricks up my sleeve I think i can still make it work...

So today i come home and find my electric blue dead...they pair killed him...I'm so mad right now I'm about to throw this pair in the trained assassin tank and see if they can hold their own in there

Thanks nick...i put alot of time and effort into keeping this one but that's how the cichlid life goes...
