Kleini Butterfly in a reef?

Hey all,

These have been described as plankton feeders, and most sources say they are safe in a reef with the exception of soft corals. Anyone have ecperience with them in a reef?

My LFS gave me one to take care of some aiptaisias on live rock he had sold me. It took care of the aiptasias but also started eating my zoanthids, so I took it back.

Hello,

he is eating aiptasia, but yes he also "takes care" :( of polyps of corals. ..
I had them and they really ate aiptasia but also the polyps of my stoney corals closed in order to prevent not to be eaten - all survived my two kleiniis but I never will put in one anymore; now I have a C. rostratus and all polyps are open (ok they intend to eat other species as well - but with an aiptasia eating fish yo always have to exclude the care of certain other species -and I can live with that).
But the kleiniis never where interested in my soft corals and I never heared that before.

regards

Markus
