Kold Steril

I got a kold steril unit with the setup I purchased, does anyone else use these and what are the pros and cons?

I have never used one and even if I had that kind of cash I am not sure I would. I guess it all depends on my water source. They state that they sorbs and restricts the following: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Copper , Iron, Zinc, Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC), tannins, Proteins, Dissolved Organics, Chlorine, Pesticides/Insecticides, Metal Particulates, Algae, Fungus, Giardia, Cryptospordium, and E. coli Bacteria.
