Kole Eye Tang For Trade

So I just got a fish trap and am planning on catching my Kole Eye Tang.

Looking to trade him for some corals if anyone is interested let me know hes in great health had him for over a year and a half got him from Salty Critter. Eats great!

Looking for mostly zoas, maybe some chalices and acans.


hoping to have him out in the next few days if i get lucky.

hes in with a bunch of other tangs no real issues hes picking on my tiny tiny clown goby lol im having a hell of a time catching him will see what happens.

You will likely have to not feed them and ONLY feed small amounts of food that can stay in that feeder tube in the trap. Hunger makes them eventually go in. Took me three days to catch a sailfin once

Yeah i started that last night what sucks is i just got a new tang so i want to make sure hes eating while also trying to starve everyone else lol bad timing on my part

everytime i go to pull the thing out the fish scrambles out. do you pull pretty fast or should i slow it down? not sure if you have any input

i was thikning about flipping the door around seeing if any fish can get in this way it wont have a long ways to shut lol

ohhh man dont even get me started :furious:

So every single one of my fish have been in and out of this box no problem. The kole eye tang not so much. The traps been in for a few weeks now and hes finally starting to go in there but i cant get a good angle to get the door to shut fast enough. When im sitting far away from the tank they guys in and out of the box :headwalls:

I even went as far as sitting behind the tank just waiting. that little **** saw me sitting back there and then must of told all the other fish and everyone bolted to the other side of the fish tank he a smart little guy. I think i have found a solution:

Im going to get an RC car attach the string to the car. Ill be sitting in my normal seat when hes in the box hit the gas on the car and baam fish caught.....or at least thats the plan ill let everyone know when i have him

I may of scratched him on the face i just noticed now this white area by his eye. Heres a video hes still in great health i havent seen this white area up until now .

im looking to get rid of the fish as soon as i possibly can. right now the earliest someone can come over is 6pm today if he backs out i have someone coming at 9pm. seeing your in PA i wouldnt guess you could be here today either before 1pm. im going to see what happens with this guy at 5pm

Current Update:

Someone via FB says they are coming over around 5-6pm if that falls through another person says they could come over around 9pm hoping this guy gets picked up today if not ill be taking him to Pets General in Lakewood
