Is it just the photos or is something wrong with the tailfin and his left pectoral fin? They look chewed up to me, but the photo is blurry and it could be some sort of background thing interfering with the look.

What you are feeding now sounds good but I would feed nori (green seaweed, it can usually be found at your local supermarket in the oriental or gourmet section for a fraction of the price as at the LFS) as the primary algae supplement and mix in some brown and red for variety occasionally. Rod's food is also an excellent frozen mix that will add variety without having to buy several different kinds of frozen food.

@ LukFox yeah its the photo his fins are fine, I'll try to snap a better picture tomorrow I work too late to do it tonight.

@SmoothDog I will look for that green seaweed and I'll order some nori what is Nori ? I"ll look up the Rod's food also thanx for all the help guys..

Nori IS green seaweed.
