Kole Tang Medicate or Not

Whats your experience with medicating Kole Tangs in quarantine. I know they don't do well with copper based medications. What about using Prazipro as a preventative? Or should I treat the Kole Tang only if symptoms occur.

Mine went through two rounds of Prazi + TTM with no problems.

What Chris said /\ but beyond that, do not medicate fish until you know what you are medicating for. Different solutions for different problems.

Thanks, I had a Kole Tang in QT for two weeks. Eating well, I added Prazipro to the 29 gallon QT, the Kole tang died the next day. I added the Prazipro only as a preventative, the tang had no symptoms of anything.
It was eating a 2 inch square of sheet algae daily, no ammonia and strong water movement.

I should have let well enough alone. The Kole was really doing well, feel bad about it.
