kole tang with rip in flesh

I noticed a small hole near the tail on my kole tang...it looks like something ripped a tiny hole in him. Is this some sort of disease or an injury?

how about a little more info ? .. my yellow ripped apart my kole , I figure he came a little to close to a hiding spot .. but I dosed with marinemax .. i suppose it helped it out a bit

Is it new? Does he still have his weapon? If not, it was possibly removed during capture
Keep your water pristine, hopefully it won't develop a secondary infection
