The Korilias wont work with a wave maker, whne they start up the impeller moves up and down the shaft make a terrible noise. You may put some tubing on the shaft to stop the noise but who knows how long they will last
 
Modded maxijet is my next purchase. I have 2 #3s in my 75 and like them but I just can controll them. When I use the feefd mode on my AC jr is sound horrific when I turn them back on. So I think I'm going with a modded maxijet or if any of the lower Tunze can be controlled by the AC jr one of those.
 
The homemade modded maxis 1200 i'm running now....they irritate the lps and stir up the tank....i wish i could find something a little less forcefull
 
i run koralias on opposing axis lenghtwise in the tank and my lps and softies love it. i use 3 and have them positioned like the 3 legs of the lower case letter y. gives me turbulence and movement.
