I am setting up a Korallin reactor, I think it is a 1502, but not sure of the model. It is one which looks like it fills from the bottom, not the top.
In any case, I believe I have it plumbed correctly, except that the person I received it from has the second outlet plugged. It looks like the effluent outlet, and there is a plug on it. Not sure why...
Don't I need this outlet open? And can I drip the effluent directly into a high flow area of my sump, not actually into a cup then sump? Dripping into a cup of some sort would make it easier to check your output from the reactor!
So can I run with just the outlet #1? I don't think I can.
On the effluent cup, can't I just drip into a container big enough to take a sample from for testing?
Sorry for the newb questions...
