koran juvenile

I was wondering how long koran angelfish stay in their juvenile colors? I'm betting a long time because the fish is only 1.5 inches in length.

Raising emperor angels starting from around that size takes about 1.5-2 years for them to start to change. They change when they are around 4-5''. Angels grow slower than strictly carnivore predators like grouper, lionfish or triggers.
