Kordon Ich Attck Usage?

I wanted to know if anyone has used this product in a reef setting with inverts and all--it indicates that it is safe for everything but rather than kill my tank--it seems almost too good--I always QT fish but I have a few in my display that seem to be getting brooklynella/ich and wanted to treat as removing them from a main display tank is near impossible. Any ideas/recommendations on this product?

Keep in mind that protozoan parasites are INVERTEBRATES! One can then assume if a manufacturer states invert safe - the product will not work. Nothing is currently available on the market that is effective and won't hurt a reef display. I always feed Metronidazole for break outs in a reef set-up. A question I have always asked - What is more important to you the fish or the corals? Because with the lack of truely effective products on the market for the situation some animal is going to suffer.

When i was very new to the hobby, I used an anti ich product that was "completely reef safe". within a few hours of adding it to my then 55 gallon aquarium, my cucumber had melted, and the legs fell of my serpent stars. Some of the stars survived and some of them died. Some of my corals seemed unaffected by the treatment while others shrivelled and died. I don't believe any anti parasite product to be completely reef safe.

While I do agree with above--I know that "natural products" such as Pimafix and Melafix seem to work very well in reef settings and have used them to treat fungal and bacteria outbreaks with no ill effects at all in tanks with many types of corals/inverts and fish. Although protozoans are obviously invertebrates--the product's details suggest it attacks the larval stage when the prots do not have a protective outer shell so once the adults have passed their life cycle and reproduced, theoretically it would kill off the population within the time it takes the adults to reproduce. Has anyone actually used this product? Thanks for the replies
