Lack of balance.

I got a call from the store late afternoon that an Achilles tang had arrived.
These are seen here perhaps once a year so I drove down there to take a look. It was still in the bag and had been imported overseas that day.
He looked perfect and was close to 4 inches in size.

I acclimatized it, but immidiately after he got into the tank he started to swim in an odd way. It seemed like he had lost his balance and had problems staying upright, swaying to it's sides frequently. Boyancy was about right, but he did lay on the sand form time to time, then picked himself up and was normal for a while. This was the first evening.

For the next day it seemed like he got over it and it was hard to detect that there was anything wrong, he swam with the fishes and even tasted some food.

Then on the third days morning he had placed himself in a corner, breathing heavily and not paying any attention to anything. Later that day he died.

I've not seen lack of balance like this from a newly introduced fish before and shortly after I introduced him into the tank I saw this tiny parasite running across his side and into his gills. I'll post a picture of it soon, but it sucks blood from the fishes. I've not seen this parasite before but a few times since on other fishes.

Thing is this fish was very expensive and while I was at the store several Regal tangs from the same shipment had the same symptoms and now I'm looking for some leverage to use in my case against the store to get at east a partial refund.
