LaMotte vs. Salifert?

Saliftert test kits seem to be all the rage these days.

Is there anything wrong with LaMatte's Alkalinity (granted, you have to convert from ppm CaCo3), Calcium/Magnesium/Total Hardness, and Phosphate test kits?

The Salifert Alk kits are not accurate. I have bought several at a time and they all gave different readings. I currently use the LaMotte alk kit.
