I am looking to do a fowlr tank and I wanted to see if a large angel and a dwarf angel would be safe in the same tank. The two im wanting to pair if possible would be a coral beauty angel (dwarf) and a rock beauty angel (large) these listed fish would be in a 100 gal 60x18x20, thoughts and experince is welcomed, Thanks

Yes you can mix them a coral beauty would be great in 100 ,rock beauty I would not recommend for beginners they just dont do well long term in a home aquarium.

the coral beauty is a great fish. and for a larger one mabe Lemonpeel Angelfish. i have kept both of these angels and have had luck. the lemonpeels gets pretty big about 6 inch

Generally speaking larger angels won't pester smaller centropyges, although you might have some pushiness from time to time. A 100 gallon tank is nice, but many of the "large"
angels will outgrow it in time. I agree about the Rock Beauty. not an ideal specimen and many perish even after seeming to do well for periods of time. The lemonpeel is also a dwarf angel although one of the larger ones. Personally, I'd attempt to add two centropyges of different species rather than a large species of angel. Add them at the same time. I have a multicolor angel in my 120 and he rules the tank. The smaller angels are evetry bit as colorful and personable and they have some major attitude.

Bought a Rock beauty that just never took to any type of food I threw in there. He was never bullied he just swam around in my 500 glln but he just refused to eat. So I would have to agree with lhm nole and my fellow devil dog!

thanks for all the advise and its good to know that the rock besuty is hard to keep fish. thanks for the advive and savin me the money.
