personally i would skip the flagfin and regal for hardiness and the koran because there are so many other prettier angels

-chrysurus is hardy, beautiful and super bold
-orange tail emperator if you have the money, some from african and new caledonia are cheaper than red sea
-blueface, get one from a good supplier and they are super hardy

I really dont have alot of info on alot of large angels in one tank but I know ive seen alot of people do it. I have two dwarfs, and one large in my tank with little problem. I do know the queen will have to be the boss or the other angels will pay. In your 210, you have alot of angels that will fit. You want a regal, and have a koran...The koran will be the boss, or atleast will try and will have a size advantage over the regal. You could add a majestic for color but they are very shy...You might just leave it how it is and just add the regal. Then you want have alot of stress from alot of angels fighting for territory. When they are small they are passive, but as they get larger they want the tank to them self. One large beautiful show fish is nice to see with other smaller more peacefull fish swimming around it. Maybe a harrom of dwarf angels, or maybe even a few different kinds. In a tank of that size you should be ok with 3 or 4 dwarfs as long as you add them all at the same time. Good luck I hope someone else can answer all your questions :)

Hi, I have a 200 gallon 6 foot by 2 foot by 26 inch tall tank that is fish only with live rock. I have a 4 inch Majestic angel, a 4 inch Scribbled angel, and a 4 inch Semilarvatus butterfly in there now along with a pygme Potter's angel and some other small fish. They all get along fine. The Majestic was in there first and when I put the Scribbled angel in there it stayed out of the Majestic's way for about a week and the minor aggression from the Majestic calmed down. I had originally had put a Goldflake angel in there with the Majestic and they got along fine but the Goldflake died with intestinal worms. I later put a Regal in with the Majestic, Scribbled, butterfly and they got along fine but the first Regal would not eat, and the second Regal (both Red sea), would not eat at all and each one died of starvation after about a month. I have read that they often refuse to eat in captivity....and I tried every live and frozen food one could think of.
I picked all of these large these angels because they all max out at about 10 or 11 inches or so and will not outgrow a 200 gallon and these are the most mellow of the large angels. The subgroup that the queen angel is in are too aggressive to easily mix with other angels and get to about 18 inches which is too big for a 200 gallon tank. The Blue face angels are nice and so are the Emperors but these both get to 16 or maybe more inches....again, too big. The Meridethi Personifier fish are from the same mellow group as the Scribbled angels, but if you look at pictures the Scribbled is nicer looking to me. My Scribbled is not only beautiful, but she has a very sweet disposition and is not at all afraid of people. I think the Majestic is a very nice looking fish also. The Flagfin fish is a cheaper and almost as pretty fish in the same group as the Goldflake, and both only get to 10 inches and are not too aggressive in general but I have read in my angelfish book that the Flagfins are difficult to get to feed. Don't know about this. You can get the book Angelfishes and Butterflyfishes by Scott W. Michael on Amazon.com new or used. Really great book that gives advice on how to mix large angels and also how aggressive each species is in general.

I like to mix my angelfish from different genesis meaning I would not add a Personifier to my tank for fear that it might not get along with my Scribbled which is from the same group. The more dissimilar they are the better the chances that they will not fight. It is best if you can to put the smallest and or the least aggressive fish in first, or put them all in at the same time. If you have one large fish in a tank it helps to diffuse aggression if the next two large fish are added at the same time to keep the first large fish in the tank from focusing aggression to just one fish. Good luck, Lesley

Thanks for the imput.... iam still looking and finalizing my plans so imput(of any sort) is still welcome..i dont move fast with fish decisions so dont expect pics real soon

mavgi! beautiful fish!! angels are my fav, and you have a great selction there. im thinking of maybe adding another angel before my mac gets big, so they will grow up together it might help. im getting a larger tank the first part of next year anyway so no worries. i really like that rock beauty. is it true they are hard to get to eat? ive seen alot of ppl with them and they all say they are just like any other angel, u just have to find a good healthy one to start with.

Thanks , i don't have any problem with feeding with all my fish and the RB eat good as well the only problem with him that he to aggressive .

i mixed them every month 7 type of frozen food with thera A+A and all the vitamin together . they love that mixing food and when i come to the tank with the food they jump on my hand to take it , i feed twice a day about 6 cube every time and give them 2 time seaweeds a day to.

i also find out the the imperator angle have the quickest graw from all my fish ....

here how he look year ago :

IMO good feeding a lot of hiding place and water quality keep them strong and healty , the queen angle was bought about 1½ year and was covered all his body with Lympo after 2-3 week in the system with good feeding and water quality everything gone , i know that if i will put this big fish in the QT he will not make it and he look great now.

Lesleybird, I currently have a female Personifer Angel in my 400 gallon tank. I bought a large male Scribbled Angel from Diver's Den yesterday which should be arriving on Friday morning. I hope they get along given that there should be ample room for both of them and they are opposite sexes.

So your the one who beat me to it... i checked DD at 550pm cst and it wasnt updated...checked again at 608pm cst and it was updated but i did not see a scribbled..then at 630 pm cst i got my email saying it was updated and listed a scribbled angel..if you dont mind what size was it and what did they want for it... one good thing is there is now one less person racing me to get a divers den scribbled...Good luck and enjoy the scribbled as it is in the top 3 fish i want from divers den along with a personifer and a red sea regal angel

Hi,
The Scribbled is 8" if my memory is correct. I nabbed it the second it was posted. (I got the Diver's Den e-mail on my Blackberry 5 minutes after I purchased it). I lost out on a 11" New Caledonia Emporer last week so I know how you feel. The cost of the fish was $449. I got a my personifer from Diver's Den about 10 days ago. It was my first purchase from them- it arrived in great condition and is now thriving.

Yeah i have purchased a few fish most notably a 4" powder blue tang from divers den..and it was/is an amazing fish ..i have basicly come to the conclusion that hard to keep/adjust or expensive fish i will only buy them from divers den because of the quality i have recieved from them..the 30day qt period and the 14 day gaurentee... the basic fish iam looking to get from divers den are..personifer,scribbled,flagfin,rock beauty, regal, potters, and flame angels(flame around here have been terrible looking for a very long time.)..and i wont look any where else for tangs..i would rather pay the higher price on divers den then take my chances some where else....even my lfs recomends divers den for the harder/more expensive fish..

I agree with you. I am waiting for an Emporer and am seriously considering one of the Conpicuous Angels. My concern is that my tank, while large, won't be enough for 4 angels without bickering amongst them.

Conspicuous angels are out of my price range...i would love to have one but one conspicuous angel would cost me alamoney and child support for 3 kids and the youngest just turned 3

yeah i have a few of the angels you are looking at in my 240 they get along pretty good, a little bickering

heres a pic

What i would really like to have (pipe dream only) is a tank large enough to house every angel (large, drawf, pygmy) tang and butterfly i could possibly get my hands on but since i know that will never happen i have to pick the ones i can afford and have space for( dang money and space thing again..happens every time)

My new Scribbled Angel arrived today. He was acclimated and put into my tank by my wife. I have not been home yet, but it sounds as if the Scribbled is being terrorized by my Personifer. Does this usually get better after a few days or do I have a permanent problem on my hands? I figured that 400 Gallons would be enough space for them to co-exist.
