Anyone know where I could get a few used large inexpensive food grade blue plastic barrels? I am looking in the Elmira/Coring area.

The other side of Candor is a business called Signs. They have a ton of them.. It is right on rt.96. just beyond the fish hatchery..it is a bout 20 min from my place

Thanks James, any additional info would be appreciated (for example, what kind of business?). I tried the yellow pages and there are a few "signs" on rt96. I don't want to just start calling people at random:)

Hi guys

Only problem with getting used drums is that you may not know for sure what was in them and what impact that could have on their future use. I assume you want to use it for salt water mixing....
I have a 33 gallon plastic drum that I used for a long time, but when I upgraded to a 125 gallon tank I also upgraded to a 55 gallon plastic drum(can mix up two water changes) from McMaster Carr. It was a little expensive....$85 with shipping, but I knew for sure what I was getting.

Just my 2 cents..

I actually want to use them for rain water/irrigation and composting. So they really don't need to be food grade. I just want them to have had paint stripper in them;)
