I am thinking about a new skimmer for my main system, 220 reef 40 frag tank 40 refugium 75 gal sump and will be adding a 93 cube to it soon.
Current skimmer ATI bubble master 250.
I am looking at the super reef octopus xp 5000 and xp 8000 internal cone skimmers. Have read good things about these skimmers on other forums.
The xp 8000 will barely fit in the sump and draws 160 watts and may be overkill.
does anyone have experience with these skimmers or have other suggestions for a large system other than the bubble king wich is out of my price range? I am open for suggestions but do not like beckett skimmers or sicce pumps.
also when I get a new skimmer I will be selling the ATI bubblemaster so if anyone is interested let me know
