larger catch tray for skimmer?

I was wondering if anybody knows of any, or a way to mod my skimmer. I got a aquaticlife 115 mini internal skimmer. I'm having to empty the catch tray every day and i was wanting a day in there where I didn't have to to do anything, plus i'm planing for when I have to go out of town for a few days.

if you want to have more space for more skimmate, dill a hole in the bottom and run a tube to a big container. I really dont know if you want to do that, but thats what i might do. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT TRY TO GO skimmerless even for a few days! your tank might not be used to it and get all funky. thats what mine did

yea thats what I was thinking about doing, moding it like that. I just wish I had an extra one incase i screwed it up, but I guess with proper planning it won't be a problem. I'm having to empty it twice a day its working so good. The problem is that its a small skimmer on a 20g tank, and fills up overnight.
