Last 3 fish

I have a 90 gallon reef tank and want to add my last few fish. I'm thinking of a royal gramma, azure damsel, and Talbot damsel. I currently have Kole, melanurus, 2 clowns, Midas Blenny, 3 cardinal and dwarf flame angel. I haven't added fish in about a year. Tried a few other wrasses and a fire fish. None of them were aggressive enough. Thoughts on the 3 i'm Considering?

The problem is that you have a long established tank and several fish that are well known to harass any new addition. IMHO Damsels create more problems than they solve.

I think your best bet for adding anything would be to change the scape and keep everybody well fed. That might not even work. Like stated above, you have some established fish that are known for harassing new tankmates. I would be very cautious with adding anything, if you do I would get the biggest sizes available to try and reduce aggression.

So would the damsels end up to aggressive for the tank? I thought if these were added last that I would be alright.

Damsels have "little man's syndrome" and will pick fights with just about anybody. I would not touch them personally. My recommendation would be to find a fish that isn't overly aggressive, but isn't afraid to stick up for itself either. An Orchid Dottyback might fit that bill. If you do add them, I would suggest an acclimation box for several days to let them get used to each other while still having a barrier in case the other fish try to attack.

The melanurus, Kole, and flame angel are the ones that may not accept newcomers.

The melanurus is the bully in the tank. I was hoping to find a fish that would be aggressive enough to stand it's ground but not become a complete nightmare down the line.

Unfortunately, I think you may be at the end with those 3 in your tank already. I can give you 2 options that might help. 1st, you rearrange your rockwork, 2nd you could try and use a acclimation box to let the established fish get use to the newcomers. Good Luck!
