last lighting question

I am listening to the people who say buy a light that you aren't going to have to upgrade twice. I really like the outer orbit 38 inch, but it is 14 or 15 inches deep and my tank is only 13...I think. Is it possible to tank mount this one? If not I need to find a fixture that isn't as deep! Any suggestions? I'm going to order tonight

Specificly, I don't know if that brand would fit on the 55g as is, someone with a 55 may be able to elaborate. I do know that you can reverse the direction on the legs of some models to turn them in, rather than out.(Aqualight)

The worst case would be that you would need hang it from the ceiling or make a mount......?

someone else has been telling me that I could hang the 36 inch model. Any thoughts on that?
