Last minute Father's Day gift ideas (mostly OT)

Father's day is coming up and I just wanted to share what I think is a really cool idea for a present. Unfortunately I don't think my dad would appreciate this as much as some, but I'm sure there are some eco-Dads out there! I have other holidays and what not that I want to use this for.

Why not adopt an endangered animal? There are a lot of places out there who do this, but I found one that I feel confident in knowing that my donation for their adoption kit will be used most efficiently.

This type of gift typically sends the recepient a certificate of adoption, sometimes a plush toy and usually lots of information and pictures of the animal. I found some sites that have marine animals too like sea turtles and dolphins.
I thought this was cool for that somebody that already has everything so wanted to pass the idea along!

Cool thanks for the link! I didn't want to put the place I was talking about, despite being not for profit, in case it would seem like something RC rules wouldn't permit but the group I have tried to support is Defenders of Wildlife.

I think it's a wonderful idea. My kids have adopted animals for me in the past and I've always enjoyed the gifts. Thanks for the link to the Georgia site, Teach...haven't seen that one before.
