Lazy cleaner shrimp

Does anyone else have lazy cleaner shrimp? I have 3 in my 180 and I never see them clean the fish. They don't seam to do anything except hide in the live rock. They come out at night to feed. Also I have a sohal in a separate tank. I'm waiting to get a couple more fish before I add him to the 180. I want him to be the last fish in the tank. My sohal ate the 3 cleaner shrimp in his tank. Has anyone ever had this happen?

I used to have a big emerald crap that fancied peppermint shrimp at night.....but usually the fish has to go to the cleaner shrimp to be cleaned.....they swim to a rock and submit to the shrimp...

I too had an issue with emerald crabs and peppermint shirmp but as far as scarlet cleaners.. they usually wont go to a fish. When the fish feels it needs some attention.. he will swim to the shrimp and kinda turn on it's side so the shrimp with clean him. Never heard of a sohal eating shrimp.

My Sohal munched on my cleaner, but that was after the trigger took the first bite(initiating the snack)
