leaking bowfront

Yikes. Sounds like a friend of mine has a leaking tank!! Called me this morning with water around the base and floor . . . no good.

The tank is an aga 72gall bowfront w/black silicon. Currently housing some 70## of rock, lots of sand, and a handful of corals.

Question #1 - does anyOne have a 72gall bowfront for sale?

Questions #2 - short of a full break down, any suggestions for the problem??

in sf.

thanks.

First of all, you should pinpoint where the leak is occuring. Most likely along a seam. Then you can determine if you can fix it. If it's a leaky seam, I'm guessing that you could lower the water level to that point and re-seal it. Worst case is to put the livestock in a big rubbermaid container (or several) and reseal it. If the glass is cracked...that's a different story.
