my tank has been up and running for about 2 years nows... no problems, fish, corals, everyone is happy and thriving. This week I noticed some salt stian on the outside of the tank. Thought it was must splash from feeding or cleaning. Then again. After looking closer there is a small leak in the silicone right a few inches above the sand line. It is a glass aquarium. What can I do???

If it was me I'd deffinately look for another tank and FAST. Something has caused it to stress in that corner and the seam to split. Before you replace the tank on the stand make sure its perfectly level. That is one of the top 5 reasons for a seam to split on a fairly new tank.

I'd play it safe and get a new tank as well. The tank may do more than leak at any given time. Hopefully your tank is still under warranty (I know that my new one has a 3 year warranty, but not sure if that's standard or not).
