there are three kinds listed only one in stock when i origionally posted there were two the two i was refering to were the tonga/fiji variety and the sri lanka variety

GSMguy,

Thank you for asking this great question! We have checked with our Director and learned there are no color variations between the Leopard Wrasse from Sri Lanka and the ones from Fiji/Tonga. We also learned that fishes displayed on the same web page would have the same coloring unless noted in the description. The wrasses from both these locations are equally beautifully colored with the only color difference occurring between the male and female! We hope this information fully answers your inquiry.

GSMguy,

Thank you for your post. The males and females differ in the coloration of the fish. The females will tend to be whitish to green with irregular black spots. The males will tend to be orange-red with greenish yellow spots. The coloration of the males will be vibrant when they are flashing for females.
