Leather and GSP

So I have a frag of green devil hand leather that isn't mounted. The spot I want to put it is real close to some GSP but I don't know if the gsp will eventually kill it or not. Should these two be fine together or will they end up trying to kill each other?

I've had Gsp and leathers on the same rock. The GSP usually kills by smothering. It would start to roll up the leather stalk. I just sliced it off with a razor blade and stick it somewhere else. Leathers are pretty toxic so ime it takes a lot to kill them.
