Leather coral rescue

I have been rescuing corals from my LFS. I get them cheep right before they die. So I put them in my tank and they perk up and come back to life.

I recently purchased a leather coral for $4. I looks like a mushroom. After the dead crusty spots fell off, it started to grow a larger plate and it started to get a nice ruffled curly edge to it. The little fingers on tho cap of the mushroom have gotten longer, and it is turning a nice shade of bright yellow green under the blue light.

I have had it for a few weeks now. I was wondering if all leather corals have those cool little flower ends on their fingers, or if there are some that do not?
I was hoping this one was going to have some, but so far none have appeared.

Still trying to figure out how to post a picture. Is there a good online picture editer that will reduce the picture to their specs?

You have a toadstool..... There are many varieties of them, some have frills on their tentacles, others just have little feelers that run out.

To answer your original question, no, not all leathers have fluffy tentacles, some can be rather plain and others can be just stobs.
