This leather is usually fully extended and only closes up when its doing the once a month skin shedding. Over the last few months I have noticed that the leather has been starting to self frag. It would still stay open but would have little pieces hanging off as they start to grow stems on them. Well a few weeks ago I decided to help and clip them the rest of the way off. It did fine and was fine for about a week. I made a few frags that are doing great but the big one is looking bad. It won't open, it has algae growing on it, and it just looks bad. Any suggestions? I tested and everything is normal. I recently added a biopellet reactor. I had a few days of a bacteria bloom but its been clear for a few days. I added an MP10 on a JBJ 45 Rimless. I really can't think of anything that was changed. In the first pic you can see my zoa that are closed up and it was decided that they had Zoapox. I treated it with Furan2 and is doing better now. I always rinsed like crazy before putting it back in after each dip.
