Ok, I have come to the conclusion that I just don't have the time to commit to the hobby that it deserves. Between my job requiring more time away, 2 kids under 4 years, a wife, and a puppy I don't seem to have a spare minute in the day. Therefore, I'm going to liquidate (excuse the terrible pun). I want to move the fish and other livestock first, then the rock, and finally everything else. Of course, if someone out there is interested in the whole thing then that could be arranged too. I'll list everything I can think of for sale with what I think is a fair price. I'll listen to any reasonable offers...I'm not trying to get rich but I'd like to recoup some of my investment.
I have pictures of most everything so I can email those to interested parties. I don't know the names of several of the corals and most are attached to pretty large rocks so we'll have to haggle a bit over those. I'll try to post some pics in a follow up message to this thread.
Ok, here it goes:
Livestock:
Pair of False Percs (medium) $25
3 Firefish ($20)
1 Royal Gramma (medium-large) $15
1 Carpenter Wrasse (medium) $15
(All fish are healthy and have never had any disease)
2 Cleaner Shrimp (medium) $15 each
1 Fireshrimp (large) $20
Misc. hermits and snails (free to anyone buying something...there are a nice variety of types and sizes)
Corals:
Xenia, mushrooms, foxface, brown polyps, some green carpet like stuff
We'll have to discuss prices when you know what you want and depending on how large of a rock it's attached to. If you know how to remove them, then that is fine too.
Everything Else:
Coralife 48 Inch Aqualight Pro, 2x150W HQI MH Lamp + 2x96W PC + 3x1W Lunar LED (this is the unit that sells for almost $700...see here I'd like $300 for it. The bulbs are about 6-9 months old.
90 gallon Oceanic glass tank (not RR), oak stand, and custom oak canopy $275
29H AGA tank used as sump $20
Prefilter overflow skimmer $15
Mag 5 return pump $20
OR Tank, stand, sump, prefilter, and pump all for $300
Berlin Classic Skimmer $35
5 Inches of Southdown sand...FREE
4-stage R/O unit $35
Refractometer $25
Various test kits, chemicals, etc. CHEAP
Maxijet 1200 Powerheads (2)...$5 each
2 sumbersible heaters (150W?)...$8 each
2 non-submersible heaters...$5 each
There are probably a few things I'm forgetting but can add later. I think that is pretty much the bulk of it though. I live in Grimes (near Des Moines). Like I said, I'd like to move out the livestock first, then the rock, then everything else. I will try to respond as quickly as possible to any PM's. Please give me time to respond as I am away from a pc a lot anymore (same reason I'm getting out of the hobby...kids, works, etc!) Thanks!
