led color ratio

Just got a rapidled biocube 29 kit with 10 cool white and 14 royal blue. looks way purple/warm. I've used this same ratio on other tanks and it gives a nice crisp blue so I'm not sure why this one is warm looking. any ideas on how I can get a more cool blue look?

do you have dimmers on the whites and blues? If not, you could just try unhooking a few of the white LED's and it would probably look how you want it to.

so, can you turn down the whites and get the look you want? IME cool white and RB is the most "crisp blue" look you can get. Is it possible you have warm whites or regular blue by accident?
