Need some input... I have decided to sell my 120 g reef which sold in one day.
I am moving April 1st and I have purchased the tank and skimmer already.
300 gallon starphire dual overflow 72 x 36 wide x 27 high
This tank will be going in wall.
Vertex Alpha cone 300 skimmer
I am stuck on lights, not sure if I should go LED or T5 + LED combo like I had on my 120g.
I am tempted to go all LED but I have just a couple reserves... I plan on keeping an all SPS tank, and as of now not much study has been done with LED. Not to mention the cost to go with it. If I was to go with the Vertex Illumina or 6 sol blue's from AI or even 4 fixtures from Orphek, I am looking at the $3500-$4000 range on something that had no proven results as of yet.
If I do T5 + LED combo, I could have top of the line set up for under $2000
Anyways just seeing what you think I should do with a tank of those dimension and for SPS and fish only.
