I got a free upgrade with Magnavore Simplicity reactor by mistake or out of stock. I thought not muchof it at the time because it consisted of 3 blue LEDS that really aren't expensive however list price for the item is quite higher when I looked at it.
Can anyone state whether the UV sterilizer on this device is effective or not. I wouldn't have bought it but was considering using it. I glanced at lights to make sure they work. I saw dim blue lights under a plastic white film.
I have 140 gallon reef with ~15 gallon sump and 20 gallon refugium if that matters. I just was curous if UV sterilizer had any chance of being effective.
