HI everyone I need some help. I have had a lemonpeel angel for a month who apparently during transfer received a dorsal barb injury. One of its barbs was sticking out through its dorsal fin when I got it home. Since then the area around the barb has really deteriated. The fin almost has a hole it it now. At this time I do not feel catching it and quaranting is the right thing to do. It seems very happy and settle in my new 75. Yesterday I started adding Beta Glucan to its food. I was wondering what else I should do here. Everyday it looks the same or a little worse. The fish is very healthy, active and eats great. Is there something I can add directly to its food or my tank to get this headed in the right direction? Maybe even in the way of antibiotics? Also does anyone know who long is reasonable to expect this to heal?
