Leopard wrasse making a mess

I am starting to dislike my Leopard Wrasse. He has gotten to where he likes to go down to the sand and use his tail or body to 'blow up' the sand and make a big sandstorm. I know he is looking for pods, but the darn thing is so fat, I don't know why he needs to stir the sand to find more. My fuge is packed with pods that he is a fat and happy camper. But he is making a mess of my water column.

that is one of the bad things with the leopards and other burrowers and foragers ,mine dont really mess to much up but they do it too .
