Leopard wrasse rubbing

I've got a Leopard Wrasse (6months) that seems to be going through some sort of rubbing fits. He's active, looks fine, and eating. However, several times a day I catch him scratching againist sand and rocks on both sides of his body. I'm worried he might get sick.

I'm a bit confused because I did a few changes to the tank outside of my normal maintance and I don't know which thing might be the cause for his scratching. I'll explain.

1st, I introduced a few snails that I bought from reefcleaners a few days ago.

2nd, Last week I removed a dieing GBA that never really settled into the tank and after serveral months of him moving to new spots he started to go downhill. When he started to look bad I removed him from the tank and did a couple 20% water changes and added fresh carbon. I think I got to him before his death could do any real damage. After the water changes my Kenya, GSP, and Xenia retreated but, I figured that was from me making the water too clean. Since then the softies have returned nicely.

All other inverts, fish, corals look fine and my water tested good. I could do another water change just in case it was the anemone but, I'm concerned that all the recent water changes changing the chem. of the tank caused the scratching. Or I could add prazipro just incase it was flukes or something. I dunno what's the best course of action. I'm also concerned about moving the leopard into QT since they can be so easily stressed.

What to do?

Sure sounds like possible ich. You can treat for flukes in the DT with Prazi-Pro. If its ich, you'll need a QT/HT. Use a plastic tray with sand for the wrasse. 'Stress" is never a good reason to avoid a QT. Being dead is a lot more stressful than being moved. Just a suggestion: Your profile says you are a novice. Leopard wrasse and anemones are not for novices. Get some time with easier fish and inverts and do all the reading you can.

Thx, for the reply Prazi did the trick I guess it was flukes or something that was brought in from reefcleaners. I was stumped cause I try to keep my tanks KISS and make only one change at a time, However, circumstances prevented me from doing so in this case. Funny, reefcleaners came so highly reccommended from this site. My profile is not accurate...my bad. Still I love how how members of this site while trying to be helpful cannot resit taking a dig at anyone who asks a question.
