Thanks for the question. We have exactly 2 small females left from a shipment two weeks ago. They are pretty fat and doing great. We have not really had too many problems shipping this batch actually. I just checked the claim record and we had two DOA claims out of around 35 shipped. That works out to about 6.5% rate which is high for any other species but very good for this fish.
We do ship choati wrasses and divideds in sand. It is actually the ratio of oxygen to water which has bigger factor in shipping results but the sand does prevent them from stressing as much.

Received the divided wrasse today. Not sure if it matters but it was not shipped in sand and really couldn't see if the mouth was tornup from shipping. The order was for a small but a 3 inch fish showed up. Not sure if it was a sizing or shipping error. As long as its healthy all good.
