are leopard wrasses hard to keep, if not, orso, what do they require?could i keep a small one in a 16 gallon?
my tank has ben running for a good year and a half, and i have a bubble coral beige star polyps, xenia, a cup coral, a yellow clown goby, and a small perc of about one anda half inches

They are extremely hard to keep. They don't ship well, are hard to get eating and need sand to bury in at night.

i just got mine about a week ago. he hasn't come out of the sand yet, and thereare no signs of him. My water parameters are fine, should i sift through my sand or what?i dont want to dirupt my corals with sand dust, but i dont know what i should do? any tips would be greatly appreciated.

dont bother digging for him. unfortunately, he died. that is the usual case for leopard wrasses. i wouldnt buy one unless you saw it eating at the LFS. they are EXTREMELY hard to get to live from shipping. sorry for your loss.

I have 2 leopards wrasses fortunately they are both doing extremely well. I purchased them from a store and they were eating .

he may not have died...they tend to be fairly skittish at first...also they sometimes end up in the sump or overflow...give it a little time. they are tough though.

i have checked my filter, and he isnt in there. I sent out for info on leopards in another forum, one guy gave me a link, and on that website, it said some people hadnt seen theirs for over a week, then one day they just popped out of nowhere.
