I am always amazed how crystal clear your tanks are. Im so jealous! Do run any filter socks? I forget if you do or not.
Didn't you just ask me this question somewhere else?

Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m thinking of adding a fourth 6100 to my 180 (I already have one on order). Looking down from the top, the current Stream configuration generates a clockwise rotating whirlpool, which surges, then stops, then surges then stops.
If I can figure out how to do it, Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢d like to generate a clockwise whirlpool, followed by a counterclockwise whirlpool, then back again. That would represent a significant improvement over my present setup. Mass flow of water, rather than turbulence, is what really keeps detritus in suspension.
If I can't figure out how to do it, my 155 and 120 can always use more flow.

Great picture of your 180. I am just curious where you would place the fourth Tunze Stream in your 180 Gal tank?

The fourth one would go on the right overhang next to the back wall of the tank, so Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢d have a pair of Streams on the right side acting as a mirror image to the pair on the left.
The objective would be to have them alternate back and forth, like this:
Left-rear: on; Right-front: on; Left-front and Right-rear: off
(To produce a clockwise circulation in the tank)
Left-front: on; Right-rear: on; Left-rear and Right-front: off
(To produce a counter-clockwise circulation in the tank)
