Hi I bought a lettuce nudibranch not knowing that it needs byropis algae to live. It is now starving to death, do I need I need to take it back to the fish store or is there anything I can do?

maybe contact the store...see what they were feading it...i think nudibranches are toxic if they die in your tank...

Depends which species you have. Some won't touch Caulerpa. Some eat it and maybe nothing else. They've also been reported to eat Penicillus and a few species of Halimeda.

As far as nudibranchs poisoning tanks, it's only a problem with one family. Lettuce slugs aren't even nudibranchs. It's not a problem.
