Leveling a 575

My friend is setting up a 120"X30"X37" tank. It is sitting on a wood plank floor. The tank is a 1/2" off level from each end. How big a problem will this be? Is this really a problem at all? How would you go about raising the end a 1/2"? Thanks for the responses!

What type of tank; glass or acrylic. Yes it will be an issue, but it is more important that the stand itself is flat. Is the stand bought, or did he make it himslef?

Also, does the floor have cement under the wood. Is it on the first floor of the biulding?

Bstone

Tank is glass, wooden custom stand, cement under the wood, and first floor of the home.

Thanks

1/2" is alot, specially for a Glass Tank that long, he will definately have to do something about it, like shim the stand, otherwise there will be a great deal of pressure on the center of the glass.

my tank was off 1/2" as well. Get a car jack and a pcs of wood and add those plastic shims from HD or Lowes
