leveling a large fish tank

Hello,

I am in the process of adding water to my tank and just found out that its off by .6 inches on one side. It is sitting on carpet and its only been on there for about 2 days. Will it settle in better once i add sand and water? if not, is there anyway i can level the tank without moving everything? maybe slide in some wood shim? it took 4 of us to move it around last time and i dont know when is the next time i can get 4 people here to help me move it again.

thanks!

Wood shim works fine but best is to post a picture here so that more people can give advice.

Is the tank sitting on anything?? foam?? rubber mat?? Is the tank not level or the stand??

the tank is sitting on a stand, no foam and no rubber mat. i think the stand is not level due to the floor or carpet. i would post a pic but friend is borrowing me camera right now...

My 180 was'nt leveled either in the beginning.... I filled it with water and was to lazy to take the water out to level it. So what I did was forced a dolly on one side and lifted it little by little and slid wood underneath. Alot of work but it came out even.

If the tank is not sitting on any foam or mat, my advice will be to shin the stand/ floor section to try to level it...
