Is lexan safe to use for marine and reef aquariums?

The problem with lexan (Polycarbonate) is that it absorbes moisture from the air, which causes "fogging" like you see with older model cars and their headlights. It's safe, but not practical for use in display type use.

It is ok to use for baffles in the sump though.

It's safe, but WAY easier to scratch.
